After-Hourz.com 2.0
Welcome to the new site. For far too long we shut down our front end portal and relied on the forums for content and communication. As you can see we are taking a new approach this time around and in time we hope to provide a place for our regulars to come and visit daily for entertainment. After-Hourz 2.0 will be a site for the community, by the community. We will be handing over the keys to many of our core members to help entertain others visiting and eventually hope to do the same for them too. Consider the site a front end forum with comments, ratings, categories, and all of the content you would find in one of our older front pages.
We have always been a gaming community and this will not change. If you take a look in our forums you’ll notice the 2 most popular categories are gaming and the bullshit area. Let’s face it this is a no bullshit community that has a ton of it. We don’t want to, nor expect to grow to the point where we lose track of the simple things that make this place what it is which is a relatively small group of guys with common interests. This is our man cave to escape and join a few familiar faces online to have some fun, whether it be on TS, on a server, or in the forums.
Over the next few months you’ll see some changes with the template and content until we are satisfied with the functionality of the site. Front page posts may contain product reviews, articles related to the games we play, or random bullshit like the logo suggests such as funny videos or items captured from various sites that we wish to show all of you. You’ll see some posts from some of our core group of members and some you may find interesting and others you may not. This is what our rating system is for. In time we hope to entertain everyone including ourselves and give everyone a reason to come check out the front page again. If anyone is interested in helping with this effort all you have to do is ask one of our admins and we’ll let you know.

I run accross technology/gaming news I always want to share with people all the time! I’d be interested in contributing.
I’m also in the same boat as Eratic about the banner, but not as harsh. I would just like to see a chang there. Also, the site runs just a little slow for me. Do you think my 88ms ping has something to do with it? Or does my computer just suck that bad?

Jakool Designs is still around… perhaps we can see what they can come up with. Not sure what we could incorporate into though. Maybe just give them a link to the site and let their creative juices flow!
